it doesn't matter, strongest of the village=kage....just to show if you're a tailed beast, there's an exception.

Im not sure thats exactly how it works. They're not gonna put somebody as unstable as gaara was in the kage position no matter who it was.

Chapter was realy good. Imo Raikage is stronger than 8 tailed jinchuuriki because :
He is Raikage.
He told him not to transform.
Killerbee was defeated by Sasuke. Raikage wants revange for his brother and fight vs. Sasuke.

He is Raikage. Just because hes Raikage doesn't mean that hes stronger. Gaara was stronger than his dad yet he remained not the Kazekage. I don't see how this is any proof.
He told him not to transform. I dont see how this is any proof at all. Hes Kazekage which means he obviously has some authority regardless of whether hes stronger or not.

I agree, Gaara was stronger than his father but he didn't listen his orders, and he killed him. So gaara's father have no authority as kazekage. Raikage is clever person for sure. If he is weaker than his brother, he wouldn't fight vs Sasuke because he'll die.

but newayz... are you sure you know your naruto stuff? because gaara didn't kill his father, orochimaru did that.

How do you know gaara was stronger? I dont remember them ever saying gaara> kazekage

it's implicit.... it clearly stated that his dad was scared of how strong gaara was in the early chapters.

That doesn't mean Gaara was stonger than him, think about it....
Gaara was beaten by both Naruto and Sauske,
But do you really think either of them would have been a match for the 3rd?
Of course not.

The same goes with Gaara.
Although his father may have been "frightened" by his strength there is no way Gaara would have been a match for him in a fight.
If Maito-Gai, who is a pure taijutsu ninja (basically) can easily swipe away Gaara's sand defence with a swing of his hand, than im 100% sure a Kage level ninja could do the same.

EDIT: My guess is his father was just frightened of his potential and what he might become.
