Oda is really giving us a huge rollercoaster of stuff right now...
I can't really tell what direction this current arc is going in, but I have a feeling by the end of it (and I stated this weeks ago) that one or several important characters might die....
It's almost unheard of for Oda to kill a character that's not part of a flash back, but there is simply too many people to keep alive atm IMO. + if ace lives, luffy will never mature past his current level of power. Oda is already more than half way to the end of one piece, and luffy needs a way to deal with the stupid logia users of the world.
Again I'm left breathless and waiting for the next chapter. Oda is truly a master of his art.
