How can u say he doesn't compare w/ yamamoto? We haven't even see him in a real right, those most action hes been in was vs ukitake and kyoraku. Zaraki was able to fight 2 captains at the same time and pwn as well tousen and fox guy vs him

idk, i heard it in the dub during the flashback after he fought ichigo. after he named the pink haired girl he said "i will take the title kenpachi, given to the strongest of the soul reapers"

I think you're confused, they actually did mention is a few times, Kenpachi is the title bestowed to the strongest swordsman. The fearless and ruthless part is something you construe of your own imaginaion.
