Is there another Gundam Series planned or in the works? I watched Wing and Seed/Seed Destinty, but did not care much for 00.

I don't know. From what I have heard the first sequel is good but the other sequels suck. I never really watched it but just stuff I been hearing other fans are saying about it. Maybe there is another sequel coming out.

Seems to be aimed at kids again but I could be wrong. Pretty much just seems like an anime to release new Gunpla from older Gundam models.

You can watch Gundam Unicorn which takes place in the Universal Century timeline like the original Gundam. You don't really need to know much about UC to get into it as most of the basic stuff is explained in the anime. The animation and fights are pretty amazing better than everything from most series I believe. The only thing is the last episode doesn't come out until next year so you will have to wait a bit to finish it.
You could also check out the other UC Gundam series.

And lastly if you want a manga read Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin which is a retelling of the original Gundam with many new stuff. There is talk that an anime version of The Origin is in works but it probably won't come out for a few years (rumor before was 2013 or 2014 but I believe it was proven to be wrong).

Ah ~

I was looking through the anime General Chat thread and thinking, "Where did my post go?" I accidently posted in the wrong thread. I actually watched a couple episodes of Unicorn when it first appeared, but stopped at they were being released at such a slow rate. I will definitely revisit it. Thanks for the information.
