all i mean is i dont know wtf they are , there old very old, at least natsu gajeel and zeref, Zeref was said to be around hundreds and hundreds of years ago but zeref knows natsu, natsu just hasent "awakened" that part of his self to be aware of his relationship with him ,

If there all real dragons using magic to be human some how or if the nature of there magic makes them unique and there in a cycle of rebirth or re incarnation,

just speculation but i think Zeref is a dragonslayer also and i think only dragon slayers can kill dragon slayers, Zeref wants to die and he thinks Natsu is the only one who can accomplish this, Makes sense seeing natsu is the main male hero of the show and Zeref is the main male villain,

I highly doubt manga streams translations are wrong Ingeel's statement of " lets see if dragon slayers can actually over come dragons" is just weird in nature with the plot of the story, its 2v2 supposed to be human vs human why would he say that to the dragons that trained sting and rouge

all i can honestly say is im interested and i will read on !

on a side note, its odd gajeel now has the motion sickness that natsu has but earlier in the manga he rode in that walking building in phantom lord no problem, perhaps as one become stronger and more skilled in dragon slayer magic they get this goofy side effect,


Does wendy have an item from her dragon? Natsu has his scarf, Gajeel has those spikes i assume there from his dragon and he didnt make them his self tho he easily could of

I already made that speculation that maybe Zeref is a Dragon Slayer and also that maybe all of the Dragon Slayers could be the actual Dragons and maybe their memories are actually been planted by their former self, when they were still dragons before they were re-born as a human being/Dragon Slayers.
but Acnologia and Zeref were both present at the same time in the end of the Tenrou Island Saga and also the fact that the Dragons is somewhere observing them counters that speculation.

Another new speculation is that the Zeref they meet in Tenrou Island is the Zeref from Edolas but that doesn't explain how he knew about Acnologia in the present world unless of course he's Acnologia's counterpart from Edolas, since the Grandeeney from Edolas is human, I assume all the Dragons in Edolas is also in Human form.

It still doesn't explain how he knows Natsu.

All this speculation is very interesting but unfortunately like any other manga series, they're just speculation and even if they have good arguable grounds, the author has the last word for the matter.

dunno why everyone thinks that zeref is dragon slayer... he could be... lets say frog slayer

just cause he knows natsu, And he is confirmed to be like 400 years old and natsu was found by marko at like age 4 and grew into the teenager he is now but he is confirmed to be 80+ and zeref looks to be around same age as natsu and gajeel

pretty much sums up what i have to say on the matter, These two new dragon slayers are just push overs, Saber Tooth is not remotely close to being a final boss of the arc, just like raven tail getting there ass kicked by laxus,

final boss will have to be the guys that's planning to open the Celestial portal.
