it wasn't his attention to save any but he didnt want to see them with victory

But honestly, you recall HawkEye citing the most fearsome ability on the battle field. Luffy's ability to rally those around him.

Crocodile may be out against the government, but at the same time I think on some level (deep down lol) he's attempting to help out Luffy & the others.



I don't think crocodiles afraid or even concerned with the concept of dying.

If it happens, it happens. Till then he'll do what he likes and that probably involves being burdensome for the government and settling his scores that still interest him.
