Been watching Bakuman. I hated Eiji until I saw him get into the cab in episode 14 or 15. "Do a barrel roll!". It was just so random I laughed really hard. I also happened to see Bakuman 2 in a list of anime, is that a continuation of the series or just some OVA episodes?

bakuman 2 is a continuation from 1, another full 25 episode series. there is also bakuman 3 which concludes the anime ( another 25 episodes)

Just finished the first season of Bakuman. Was anyone else just waiting for xzibit to show up as a cameo? I mean the whole anime about making anime so you can put anime in your anime kinda thing seems pretty obvious for that meme

Just watched Angel Beats!

Since everyone said it was a sad anime, i put it off for a while. I can see how it's sad, but not really tear jerking. There wasn't much development overall to pull the emotion in my opinion. But it's still a great anime Want the second season that was supposed to happen 3 years ago, but doubt that will be any time soon.

I give it 8/10 personally. Would have been 9 or 10 if they put more into the emotional department. Given more of the characters back stories, rather than leaving you guessing, along those lines.
My favorite character was Kanade, as was probably most peoples. Either her or Yuri would be the favorite characters overall.

(purely the way i interpreted it)The only thing i disliked about this anime is that Hinata seemed to have lied to Yui. I believe that he did like her, but the way him and Yuzuru talked after it made me feel he was insincere about how he truly felt. Yui deserved better with the life she had than to be told lies to her face, just so she could have some peace. That's the only thing i truly hated about this anime. I hope they make a second season after the game is released.

I had similar feelings about it actually. I felt that the series needed to be a few episodes longer with a little more meat to the story. Still really enjoyed it, however not nearly as sad as everyone played it up to be. To me anyways lol

Just finished watching Hanasaku Iroha Movie: Home Sweet Home.
Would rate ~7/10. Wanted more progress into future but going back to the past for Ohana's mom was fine, too.
Also wish it was longer than just an hour. Felt really short.

Shinsekai Yori - 8/10

Recently finished FMA / FMA Brotherhood; enjoyed them both but Brotherhood definitely had better flow and was "darker" which suited my tastes more. There were things I enjoyed more about the original though; Izumi/Wrath, Lust's backstory, the whole Sloth deal. After a few recommendations I wrapped up Sword Art Online which I felt had potential but was ruined by Goku-syndrome and a lot of weird teenager-otaku moments.

Right now I'm into episode 23 of Death Note and am full on addicted to this shit. Will finish the anime and go on to watch the films.
