i thought that for awhile too... but it just seems too unrealistic. i mean, what power could he possible mix with being rubber?
unless of course when combined, it makes a whole new power. that i would actually buy into, but at the same time i dont want it to happen.

the reason i dont is because he most likely wouldnt need to master his Haki, and seeing as how he possesses the kings disposition... it would be very wasteful and imo, irresponsible.
