Yeah, I didn't really like that. Even if it was brief I would've liked to see some sort of battle. He gets his ass kicked then 2-0s the spiders. Hisoka the anti-hero

idk i kinda liked it as a plot device setting up hisoka's rampage
it made sense, and i'm pretty happy with the action, i don't want hunter x hunter to turn into an "it's over 9000" thing

hisoka battling kortopi and the guy outside never noticed? iono. seems rushed

definitely one of the ones the author loves to death, its pretty obvious.

And I have no problem with him being the defining character of the manga.

He really does a good job representing the world of HxH.....exhilarating, violent, with hints of light hearted moments scattered about

So I was thinking about the previous chapter, & found it interesting the the Spider members that Hisoka killed were the members who lent their powers to Chrollo. Then Chrollo kept the guy who has the cellphone antenna power, almost as if not only did he know hisoka was going to survive, but come after the troupe members. Also, with Hisoka going after the spider members it sets up an interesting story line between himself & the zoldyck family, considering Kallluto is apart of the spiders now. I doubt Illumi & co would take kindly to Hisoka killing one of his younger brothers, although he might not give a fuck like he does about Killua. It'd be cool if that storyline brings in the Z family into the Dark Continent arc

I forget if we have heard from the zoldyck family in awhile since the whole thing with reviving Gon.
