After rent, utilities, internet, tv, car payment, insurance etc.. you've got like $100-$200 left a month for food and that's it lol. God forbid you fucking smoke cigarettes (which a lot of low income people do) or that you want to go out drinking on occasions. And that's if you don't live in a big city. I've got a buddy up in Seattle who pays $1,600/month for a tiny ass one bedroom apartment.
I would have about $224 left a month after everything if I made $15/hr
that's including food, gas, car, insurance, internet
Cost of living here is very cheap
