i think the wording of "heaven" and "hell" is wrong
i think it's just simply reincarnation, and not reincarnation
a second chance at life, and not
in all 3 cases there havent been evil people, imo, that deserves to go to hell
case 1: the wife cheated, but regretted it....the baby is the husband's, but she said all that evil stuff after the game to make him feel better as the assistant explained
i think the bartender fucked up the first case, that's why boss lady got mad at him in ep2, and also the reason for bringing in the assistant, to help judge the situation, as they explained at the end of ep2....the husband has trust issues so even if he reincarnates, he wouldnt find happiness
anyway's it's not "hell" she simply just doesn't get a second chance at life, not necessarily a bad thing
case 2: this one was a soft case, both reincarnate for a chance at love i guess
case 3: while it would seem like the girl was the bad one here (her raging and smashing guy's face in), she has darkness in her soul, but it developed since she's had a pretty shit life
from teenage pregnancy, to multiple baby daddies, and multiple domestic violence issues caused her to be a bitch to her co workers and a distant mother
she's had enough of life, which is why bartender comforted her at the end, her soul not reincarnating was a good choice since she's had enough and can "rest" now, but definitely not worthy of sending to our interpretation of "hell", where people get tortured for eternity
suicide guy getting second chance makes sense since he didn't do anything with his first life
it seems all the episodes will just be case studies of human tragedies, those that are fulfilled or perhaps sick of life will just go to the void, and rest
those that aren't will have a second chance
"Heaven" and "Hell" is just an easier way to explain/represent it but yes, you're right, it's just going to the void or being reincarnated. I think that the bartender only screwed up on the first person because he based it on what she said rather than why she said it. In the second case, they were both reincarnated. As for the third, I would say that she definitely deserved to go to hell/not be reincarnated because having a shitty life is hardly an excuse to smash in someone's face because it is convenient for you, especially since we see how she died and it was because she was a monster (slapping her assistant and whatnot).
