2nd ep was pretty good starting to think this will turn out to be a pretty good series this season.

i like how he sacrificed his rep to calm the crowd so shit didn't get out of hand

is the manga different from the light novel?

The content is mostly similar but the writing style is a lot different and I personally hate the art. In my opinion, the light novels are a lot better.
