the anime is mole 1% of the real story ..

That giant boss alien is some sort of military hero in his race.

He is actually depicted a few times in this huge long arc.

Anyways he has a grudge against Kurono because he helped force the aliens off of Earth (LOL Nishi crying for his mom).
