Depending on what his Bankai actually is, I rank him one of three potential characters who could rival Aizen's power. (Yamamoto and Ichigo being the other two)

Its possible. In 111 they definitely showed ichigo's dad is not as stupid as he pretends to b. And hes actually kinda tough, but i think the reason he is not part of soul society and the reason ishida's dad hates shinigami r both linked to ichigo's mom somehow. Either way, theres a reason why the "king" is locked up and the only way to get to his throne is also sealed, and i would bet that that reason is not becuz the king is a nice benevolent guy. Also, it seems to me that the "battle this winter" is kndve in progress already, and we might b seeing the end of aizen to make way for another villain sooner than we think.

Assuming Ichio:

A) Won't be strong enough to kill Aizen
Won't be the one to actually do it


Is totally ignorant. First off, he has come from being a HUMAN to being a Bankai wielding Vizard in the time it takes most SHINIGAMI to learn their FIRST release. Second, he is the main protagonist, and Aizen is the main antagonist. Ichigo has lead the fight against Aizen and his arrancar the whole way.

sure, thats the most likely scenario. I agree ichigo likely b the guy to beat aizen. I just thought it would b funny to contemplate aizen opening the door thinking hes going to kill the king, and he gets owned, and a very pissed off king is released. U gotta admit, theres a reason the king is sealed up and so hard to get to, and i dont think all of it has to do with the control of soul society, as its been shown that yamamoto (the commander) has been basically running the show for some time now. And for the record, ichi sure as hell is not strng enough right now to deal with aizen, tho that can change.
