Is SGT Frog a good anime? I really liked the manga

I have not read the manga and I have only seen around 10 episodes but it is pretty funny

Watched the first season of Fate Zero , so far it's building up quite well and I give it an 8/10 , really need to see s2 now.

Fate Zero 2nd season won't disappoint u

Just finished K-on season 1, dammit. IT WAS SOO GOOD, I mostly just like they're music.

watched the K-ON movie (great, as good as the series)

and also the eveything the world has ever conceived of FMP! anime. Season 1 was good, Fumoffu was great and TSR was the best part imo, very awesome. The OVA was fun too.

^^ Haha, I just went through all the FMP stuff, too.

I expected it to be a more tongue-and-cheek anime but it was still great, very good mix of serious character development/drama and situational humour.

The only problem I have with the anime is that it has far too many unexplained plot points. Spoilers ahead


For instance the chick rescued right at the beginning of the anime is never seen again, the deal with Tessa's twin brother is never explained, the whole Whispered/Black Technology thing are left as mere plot devices/deus ex instead of having depth to them... etc.


The light novels do explain the rest of the story/universe but I don't really understand why there wasn't an additional season, there certainly was enough material and plot connections for it. And AFAIK it's a pretty popular anime and the novels themselves have sold millions of copies. Figures...

I'll give it 8.5/10 overall because it was a really easy anime to get into and it was downright epic/dramatic/hilarious many times, but the lack of a proper conclusion or simply more episodes is a bit disappointing. Not in a Death Note/Code Geass/Evangelion kind of way where you simply want the writers to come up with new shit but in the sense that not all bases were covered.

Finally finished Inuyasha: Final Act. I started Inuyasha so many years ago, it's weird to be done with it. I'm very pleased with the ending.

Finished Buyuden scan chapter 1 - 27 (around that), it's a nice manga
