Also what exactly did Itachi give Naruto in that one chapter where they talked, but did nothing else? They skipped that scene in the anime.

My bets on he just put some of his chakra inside naruto, kinda like how the 4th and Kushina did. That way when it comes down to Naruto vs Sasuke,  Itachi can pop in his brain before naruto dies and give him some wtfadvice that gives sasuke a change of heart
