its a jump,  the bond between naruto/sasuke  has been given lots of  screen time.  naruto is supposed to be able to end the cycle of hatred in the current world and bring peace like the sage of 6 paths,  he has stated several times if he cant even save 1 friend then he isnt fit.  Naruto will turn Sasuke's heart eventually with his special "power" the able to make friendships and etc like with gaara and a new breed he wont fail like jiraiya  did with ochi

my biggest interest in the show atm is Kabuto honestly  dude is sick,  was better then tusande in her prime , was compared to being = to kakashi's lvl  etc ochi powers etc,  leading the leaf to toby's hide out,  then black mailing the main antagonist toby
