i think cana will be a target for the fairy glitter soon also

So they Need Lumen for the Large amount of energy to open the Celestial Gate? or whatever gate it was called.

i dont think raven tail wants that gate open or even know about the gate do they?

They want to use a Celestial Spirit Mage to open the Gate. That's why they were trying to abduct Lucy.

I don't think it was raven tail who wanted lucy, the knight guy who asks the king who he wants to see fight wants lucy, and used FT and RT's family friction to make them believe it was RT who wanted to kidnap her.

raven tail was just a tool for them. Laxus will probably pwn them all and raven tail will then be disqualified

Maybe... Or somehow the figure out it's an illusion and the rest of FT jumps in to help him

i have some weird feeling that the rufus memory make magic can see through RT's illusions
