they wouldnt have put that in there if he couldnt have survived it.
they are clearly showing us that Luffy is a straight up badass who will stop it nothing to complete his goal.

otherwise the boss fights would not be one of the great highlights of this show.

those 3 are the admirals, not vice admirals
