No, ichigos the only person in the series who's in Shikai at all times

He can compress his spirit power, that's what the patch over his eyes for, it eats his spirit energy so he cant use full power in fights to give opponents a chance

Take into account personalities.
When he took charge, the other two didn't care..

I'm thinking stark is #1, Baragan is #3, Halibel is #2


Remember, stark said he didn't even wanna fight - and wanted to wait until everyone else finished.
Also, they could just have respect for Baragan because he's so old.
What if the hougyoku was never used on him to transform him. He may be #2 or #3 based on his pure strength (an age factor, experience); therefore, he has their respect.

Stark = #1 for sure IMHO

I think its him because he isn't in a fight yet. Their probably saving espada #1s fight for like a final thing. Maybe old man yamamoto vs espada #1 2 old men duking it out .

Stark isnt leader because he doesn't give a crap about anything. Halibel probably isn't leader because we have yet to hear her say anything. Baragan is probably used to barking orders because hes #1

Because he did not know that using both hands the power of hes sword is more powerfull? read manga again... its a part there where he say that.. ( ichigo in shikai form.. used both hands to own him..)

Its obv that Ichigo sword is special...hes hiding something...he had big problems whit Grimmjow..#4 espada raped him whit 2 hits.... i dont wana think about #1 ( not counting Aizen... he kicked ichigo bankai whit 1 finger before going to Hueco Mundo..whithout using the power of the cube.. and so on...)

aizen blocked that because ichigo was at like 10% after byakuya fight.

in the manga kenpachi said he learned kendo back before he got captain. Yamamoto wouldnt let him become captain w/o learning it Ichigo always uses 2 hands on his sword. If Kenpachi used 2 hands, even w/ ichigo in hollow mode bankai, i still think it would own him.

yamamoto's sword is some huge fire based power. I forgot the name of it, but his is godly O.O
