I wouldn't say the first 60 episodes are boring but more of an introduction to the world of one piece.
For me I was hooked into the anime after around 20 episodes which is when it starts to pick up.

But durarara is awesome anyways so go ahead
if you end up liking it check out Baccano!

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou suprising enough...a anime with no real story that is just broken up into small comedy parts can be very entertaining

at first I didn't think id like it because lack of my favorite things in a anime

romance,action,fanservice,suspense,gore

but the comedy was really quite good

well yea but introductions tend to be boring and as im sure 99% of people said before they started one piece the style of it is a bit diffrent ( way off from my favorite styles like deadman's wonderland and soul eater)
but I still tend to give it a shot some day ( the sub ofc I would rather kill myself then watch a 4kid's show...)
durarara just gets a head spot because seeing a good amv always makes me want to watch a anime also I'll check out baccano after aswell

from what I remember reading the anime only covered a few of the light novels so there is still a chance sometime in the future they do another season

Every little ounce of potential it had with the art style and setting was gracefully thrown down the shitter.
For some reason they decided that it was a good idea to slice the show into 5 minute episodes. They shouldn't have...
The plot and characters were all over the place and the dialogue and VA was so poorly done that I lul'd on many glorious occasions.
Worst of all though was the (lack of) animations. It felt like I was looking at an awkward picture book.

They even managed to add insult to injury and throw in a little sneaky vampire yaoi. Fuckers. Oh, and the amount of narms was mind-numblingly staggering.
