This was all mentioned when they did flashback + reintroduction. No one in this manga has the same name so yeah.
Koala was known when sabo was revealed along with her.

Enel's cover page story is not involved with the actual story.
I posted a link for all the coverpage stories put together as a gallery and NONE of the side stories ever coincided with the main story afterwards.
But it might in the future. I still think it's wrong because you see enel coming back to earth with his army anyways.
