theory:

namis log pose for 1st half of grandline is from gol d roger

the log pose was provided by crocus who was part of that crew

its the only way the crew could have gone thru same route that allowed robin to encounter the ponyglyph on sky island

Once you're on one path, it's a set path. BUT don't forget that if they go to a new island, they have to follow that island's magnetic field to the others.
AKA eternal log post to alabasta and finding robin there.
