I'm in the EXACT same boat as you are. I caught up on bleach within about the month and I'm now reading ahead where the anime left off. I haven't watched any of the fillers though, and I plan on keeping it that way. I find them as completely useless. That goes for every anime, including and especially Naruto.
This chapter seems to start off slow though, and it doesn't look like it's going to pick up the pace any time soon.
