i think mushishi is prolly your best bet for nature its directly related and its an absolutely amazing show consistantly one of the highest rated of all time its a true work of art
~mushishi is about a guy who seeks out the spirits that reside within nature
but some well... more of a stretch...

~a particular highly rare flower turns out to be a huge plot turn in an otherwise action vampire show its very good
Jyu Oh Sei
~criminals are sent to a far away planet ie a lush jungle and survive off the land like animals
Wolf's Rain
~story is about wolfs taking the form of humans living among people but not only wolfs also a particular flower who lives among the people
Eureka 7
~very large stretch but good show its about humans living on a distant planet after depleting earths resources hitch is that the planet is a living entity and possibly intelligent
