I doubt he could suppress the 8 tails since bee has full control. I think he just did it to the fox because the seal was still mostly in tact and had just gotten reenforced by yamamoto after the fight with Orochimaru.

Also what was the attack Sasuke was going to use right before Orochimaru stopped him saying they could be used against the akatsuki?

but i know MS gives control over bijuu and he suppressed it with normal shirgian and now he has EMS soo its just a thought

eh, he still has skill though a lot of it was given to him dont get me wrong but he still worked hard for the place he is at

and he shows to be pretty creative and and adapt on the spot like intelligence wise during a fight

yeah he's better than the average ninja but honestly he isn't even as strong as kakashi without his gifted powers.

said something along the lines of they are rivals and competed in strength

The gifted powers are what separate the regular from the extraordinary. Keep in mind Kakashi has a gift as well.
