And I'm sure if Yamamoto used an attack that would make fire appear everywhere that the fire wouldn't be as concentrated and it would be easier to block/shield against. I'm sure Aizen's defensive capabilities and his spiritual strength are more than adequate. Plus, illusion isn't his power, it's hypnosis. Hypnosis is a far more lethal trait.

I don't really know if the gotei 13 is smart enough to be ready for Aizens illusions. I'm betting only old man Yama, Urahara, Youroichi and the Vizards are the only ones who can deal with his powers. Well them and perhaps Kenpachi can just rape the illusion out of existence with his apeshit reiatsu...

No, no it can't. If you read/watched the part where Aizen explains his power AT ALL you would've known that. Additionally, Aizen isn't stupid. He wouldn't have explained his power had there been some way to block it other than being blind to begin with. It EXPLICITLY states, once you see the release of the Shikai (which all the captains have already seen), you are completely under its spell whether you know you are under it or not.
