I tried to keep it pretty authentic.

If you’re still making any sigs, I’d like to see some of them.
The one Lao quoted is nice, even though I’m not familiar with the character, I wouldn’t have turned it down. I’d like to see what else you’ve done

most of them are pretty bad as i never really learned how to make sigs

I think quite a few of those are cute. I struggle with the more abstract backgrounds myself.
I can make a scene, or make decent pop outs that have incomplete backgrounds, but I want to get better with just creating a background

many of my sigs will have different drawn scenerys on top of eachother in different blend modes (or multiple of the same scenery)
like the bottom layer will be a darker scenery, maybe something like a midnight sky.
then i find a scenery with clouds and put that above it on soft light or lighten
works well if you start with a darker picture and then it allows you to add lighter effects from other pictures like stars and clouds
pictures with moving water can be used to create a nice flow too if you do it like that

E: The animated ones I’ve seen in this thread are interesting, some of them look so nice and others detract heavily from the overall aesthetic. Seems like less is more when going that route, but I guess some people like messy things.

The animation style really just depends on what the person is after.
The demon slayer guy said to "make it flashy"
The Shin Chan guy just wanted some silly sigs.

It depends on what you're looking for.
Granted, I'm still new to animation, but I have a lot of people I can rely on for advice when I need it.
