I totaly agree with you on them taking Ushio. The two of them making up was one of the most touching parts to me, and then when Ushio got sick I almost yelled at my screen.  I was like "No.. the wouldn't take them both..... that would just be too sad...... this has to just be to scare us" Man was I wrong I agree, it gave it that emotional power but still Was even harder if you watch the English dub because Nagisa and Ushio are voiced by the same actress, making Ushio even more of a mini-Nagisa.
The last episode just made me rage, "YOU PUT ME THROUGH ALL OF THOSE FEELS AND NOW THIS!!?!?!" I mean it was what really pulled "place where wishes come true" aspect into the story, and I feel like it was somewhat needed to incorporate the rest of the pieces that had been mentioned throughout the show but still

Yeah, it was pretty much the biggest real ass hole move they could have pulled. Haha. I knew it was going to happen though, it was just set up to be too happy of an ending, even with Nagisa gone. i stopped believing that Clannad would be happy when Fuko disappeared originally. lol.

As i said, after Ushio's death, i consider that fake. I hated the ending. I actually hated it so much that even though i did watch it, when i saw the scenes again on a youtube video my thought was "When the hell did this happen? Weird.. Musta skipped an episode or something.."

So pretty much i unconciously blocked out their fix lol.



The wedding was in the After Story, wasn't it?  The last episode in the first season was the Play and Tomoya and Nagisa finally getting together.
