I understood all of them, I laughed at some parts of the series, but the main point of "it's funny because it's true" got old after 10 episodes.

Shows that are more about the characters than the situation. Stereotypes are sometimes fun, and interesting characters a must, but anime requires storytelling and creativity.

You'ld be searchin around, like, "i wonder if its out and i cant find it. I want it! I need my deathnote; WTF is he gonna do this time?!?!" and then you'ld find it and spend the next weak wondering what would happen next

I watch sub and dub, but if it's available in English, I'm probably going to watch it in English, I mean, why wouldn't I watch it in my native language?

I remember when I first saw death note when I was younger, I LOVED IT, and couldn't get enough of it... Shit, I even own the "How to read 13" book.
Now that I re-watch it, it doesn't seem as great as it did back then.

not every show was getting subbed at the time too it was the first show outside the standard pop genres that got subbed on time every weak
death note was great it was the first show that really told me i could expect more out of anime
