ive wondered the same thing, and ur theory is probably sound. I just dont want to see it happen here. I think this may the only time kenpachi could actually b pushed far enough to attempt to call on his sword. If kenpachi gets beat and yachiru saves him, then there is little to no chance they will develop his character further and actually do nething with his sword. I almost think id rather him b killed off than have some1 save him, cuz either way, he wont get ne development nemore and he will b sidelined with the "weaker" chars like renji is now. At ne rate, his death may b at hand. I mean, how many mortal wounds can he take at this point? I just think it would b cool if at least got shikai and it would open up some new stuff to do with his char. This char doesnt fight all that often, and if he doesnt get an upgrade now, i dont see him doing much for the rest of the show, thats my concern.

I'm not so sure Yachiru is stronger then Kenpachi, there's a good chance she's strong enough for Bankai though. Thinking on it now, it's never said Kenpachi's sword is pre-released like Ichigos, he just doesn't even know its name for Shikai.


Shikai or Yachiru is how Nnoitra is going to get owned.

thank-you.....me? i know everyone wants yachiru to do bankai, but i want the name of kenpachis sword....his sword does look different, but my roommate has a good theory for that. Kenpachi's reiatsu is constantly eating at the sword, giving it its worn, run down look. Or, the sword is like him, constantly sandbagging, pretending to b chipped, dented and weak, when like kenpachis bells or his eyepatch, it is hiding its true strength, just like its master.

I want some Kisuke Urahara action.
