let's be honest, government everywhere is corrupt and evil.
if you tried to fight against them you would be smited instantly, and that is reality.

so if you think this story would become bullshit if they failed, then you sir have a wide variety of things to be disappointed in in life.

If I wanted a realistic story I wouldn't be watching a fantasy sci-fi anime.

I would be watching the walking dead which is a retarded tv show but is massively popular.

i used realistic in the sense of (always happy ending) being unrealistic. and sad endings being realistic.

i was not talking about the sci-fi and esper types of things in the show.

I liked the show cuz people actually die, unlike power rangers

If you fail to see the formula of this anime and call it a "not happy ending" then I really couldn't make you see the sense of my argument anyway.

Right now it can go both ways.
Akame kills esdeath and she dies in process, not happy ending.
Akame kills esdeath, happy ending.
Akame dies, not happy ending.
Akame dies, and esdeath changes for Tatsumi and helps the capital, happy ending.

All good plots and can happen any way the author pleases.
The character we've been watching from beginning to end with full backstory has already died. So where's this formula that this anime/manga is a happy ending one that is 100% proof
