So I am guessing he was thinking of Kaien since Kaien was his Vice Capt.

I just watched that episode and Yeah he did have the expression of WTF when Ichigo was arriving, and he did say it was clearly captain class so yeah .. Your scenario is more plausible than mine

Well I think that is his real name cause Uryuu's dad did call Ichigo's dad Kurosaki.
