i think the japanese like fillers because in DBZ ppl complained not enough fillers..

Dude, reading the manga is so worth it. It doesn't take a lot of time at all. It can be hard to imagine what the fights are like due to the art, but it's so nice being up to date with the story.

Is the anime, canonically, still only just past the Naruto/Itachi/Nagato/Bee and the Gaara/past kages fights? If so, the anime has so much catching up to do. So much shit has gone down. At least "that" part should be coming before too long.
