I'm actually not reading Bleach anymore, which says quite a lot since it was my favourite manga only a few years ago. The chapter where Isshin and Ichigo go into some fucking time haxxor thing directly stolen from DBZ did it for me.
Kubo has the best idea for a manga out of the big 3, yet he does NOTHING with it. Best artist but weakest storyteller and in the end every artist becomes better artists anyway.
While the action and drawings might be superb, the writing has totally fucked up. Kubo has either gone mad or his editors are ruining things for him.
He should either try to end the manga as soon as possible or get another manga-ka to do the story writing for him.
He should have made characters already introduced (like Renji and Rukia) stronger by now by learning some new abilities.
I wouldn't have introduced so many Vizards, having the Espada, Vizards, Yoruichi and Crew, Ichigo and Crew, and Gotei 13 + the Royal Guard has the Manga feeling cluttered.
Being as though the Vizards got crushed rather quickly shows that having so many were unnecessary from the start. I would have introduced 4 at the Most.
Bleach is simply more and more questions with no answers. Peoples background, Aizen's ultimate plan, peoples abilities, and even in some cases characters!
What I want is less charactes and more plot. I've been actively reading this manga since it was first released and started over quite a few of times, but now I've realized i don't know the name of half of the characters.
I used to think I didn't know their backstories either until I realized they just didn't have any.
First of all the slow plot progress is killing me, I mean the whole "rescue Orihime" thingy took'em over 3 years, what the fuck?
Every single panel is taking up too much space. Whenever there's an explosion in the battlefield, of course Kubo has to make it cover the whole page.
We all know what a flipping explosion looks like, STOP TAKING UP A WHOLE PAGE OR THREE TO "DRAW" ONE!
I mean take a look at the last few chapters, look at all these pages go to waste! You don't see that in a lot of other mangas and certainly not in good ones.
