It's been such a long time since I've even thought about the animation. What part are they on? Do they continue to plague the series with war-related fillers? Have there been any of the several significant fights that have yet to happen?

I personally use both adaptations of Naruto

I read the manga for the story, so I get it faster
I watch the anime because explosions are better in motion :)
