I watched the first few episodes... ehhh, from what I saw it's typical "cute high school girl gets magic and wants to do something great. I forget what that kind of anime is called in Japanese (young boys/girls?). It's kind of boring and I grinned pretty often at how forced some of the conflicts seemed to be. Also every episode they have the fairy dude waste precious seconds of each episode talking about the most random shit about instruments.

I'd only recommend it if you're into the high school thing and are running out of options.

Bakemonogatari was good. Didnt like the snake and the cat girls though. Feels like I missed a lot of jokes, as i cannot speak/understand japanese

Mixed feelings about Jigoku Shoujo. The concept is interesting, and the first few eps were capturing as well, but it started to get repetitive pretty soon. Ending was cool, so I decided to watch Season2 nevertheless. Seems to be more diversified at least

Lucky Star just isn't an anime I'd introduce to non-anime watching friends...
