The anime doesn't end where the game has ended. Nor was the game very accurate on a couple of battles.
Manga is already further than where the game has stopped, so don't worry

Another long drawn out filler arc, typical.
They need to catch up since the manga is in its last arc rather than piss off viewers and tank their ratings
