I Just finished watching the movie Sword of the Stranger.

WoW. I don't know how i have missed out on watching this for so long but it is defiantly a 9/10 for me

ya its definitely one of the best, i doubt u will find better swordplay in any anime.
except maybe samurai champloo, i havent actually tried to compare them... but they are both well worth watching, especially if u are a fan of good sword fights (not crap like bleach)

It depends on what you like really. Samurai Champloo is action packed where this has a in depth story. I do how ever think they are both excellent works of art

ya i just meant in terms of swordplay.
kenshin seems more like a kids show with the type of sword fights it has, none of it is any good.
but the story and character backgrounds are pretty good, definitely worth watching.
especially the OVAs, its too bad they will never remake the show with the same style they did in the OVAs.

I agree. I want them to produce more samurai based anime's. I have watched almost all of them to date and cant get enough of them
I am currently watching Shigurui and wow it is amazing lol. A little messed up at times but i enjoy it
