I've actually really liked the fighting animation in the past 2 episodes (with kabuto)

Better than the regular animation. Way better than the infamous pain vs nine tails fight animation

Just kind of seems to me, that they're trying to go back in the past and add in another story element that wasn't originally written in.


Or it's just a shitty filler arc, either way it's pretty bad. Is this pre- pain destroying konoha? Why is Naruto such a pushover? And who cares about this fat guy and these kids?



Only redeeming factor is we get to see Hidan come back, though he'll probably get sealed or something before the arc is over.
