I dont think so, if the haki would be that good, the story would be boring after he discovers it...
I think there will be some who have the same "mental thoghness", like him, because they want something else than being the pirat-king ;)

But we just know Gecko Moria and another random

Whitebeard for example does not want to, but is mental that much tough ;)
