well we all know it cant be a vasto lord like he's suggesting (how would she die by fisher if she was ?..)
so it must be human and shinigami (btw he recieved his hollow powers at the same time he recieves zangetsu!!!!!!!)
but my point is what i said before the manga messe it up thats why everyone is doubting (i geus)

he got his hollow powers because he was turning into one and stopped the hollow transformation with his shinigami powers which put them in conflict w/ each other until Ichigo mastered both sides (bankai and then hollow mask)

i know that was almost at the same time (he broke out 1min later after he when hollow)
so in my eyes its at the same time ^_^

At first it was Human AND but then the revised it to be Shinigami. Or vice verca. Pretty sure it was just a translation problem. They do that a lot if you reread the manga like 4-5 days after it comes out.

first it was shinigami and... then the enxt week it was human and..

it was obviously meant to be human and... then the shinigami part was drowned out because his dad showed up and revealed it anyway.
