They're milking the fuck out of it and only animating like 1 chapter each episode at this point.

I'm thinking about dropping the show until the manga is done with its current arc, which may be the end. The show isn't really bearable on a weekly basis the way they do it. It easily could be, but it isn't.

The whole encounter with the Raikage + Tsunade probably could have been done in one episode, if you ask me. In fact, I thought it was only going to take half an episode to finish it off so Naruto + Bee could go onto their first fight.

Fillers in this arc off the top of my head:

281 (aka "Allied Mom Forces")
271 (aka "Road to Sakura")

Both 100% wastes of time and money. There are probably going to be more of these episodes littering the war arc that prevent it from actually moving forward with the plot.

Here's a hint: Almost none of these war arc fights actually matter.

It's not marked as filler so it mustn't be one.
