I've watched the old series up to like probably episode 20-30? I just couldn't get into it because I found the dialog to be cheesy. Everyone says it's good though so i keep through it for that long but quit because nothing changed.
Hoping 2011 is better so I could attempt again


I haven't watched the old series, but 2011 is phenomenal. The few clips I've seen of the old one I didn't really care for (because of voices, dialogue, and intonation mostly). Definitely watch 2011, its got excellent animation, music, voice actors, and it follows the story for much longer. Plus, it still comes out every week. Don't let your dislike of the original deter you, you'll be missing out :P

you don't have to watch them on tuesdays/wednesdays you can save it for sunday xD
