i dont understand this battle royale things.. how can luffy get into the most retarded group and rebeca just trows her shields and jumps there.. wheres the haki users?ill be quite dissapointed if this are only 'advanced' heroes that fight for mera mera

This reminds me of Alabasta kinda. Luffy didn't HAVE to get involved, but he did.

I think the major difference is that Luffy was already involved with Flamingo before Rebecca. However, he wasn't involved with crocodile until Vivi showed up.

The two overall scenarios seem similar to me though, in a light sense.

I think it is unlikely that Rebecca will win her section. Highly unlikely. Which leads me to believe Luffy or some other party will interfere (assuming she comes to danger or something)

From there, things can go several ways.
