The funny thing is that despite your demand for "facts" to support what you called "made up" assumptions --- The truth of the matter is that with a manga such as Bleach its all a moot point really.
Bleach doesn't have to make sense, most of the time it doesn't. Time and time again the plot advances with a classic +1 to Ichigo's abilities..In fact, it's really the only way the plot advances.
Ichigo's skills with a sword are irrelevant. Resitsu +1's always take the cake.
In fact, it's practically Ichigo's signature that he sucks with a blade.
Ichigo's bankai's primary purpose is just to make his swordmanship adequate and he wins his fights not through superior technique, but through a higher level of, for lack of a better word "power/reitsu
Wow what's with with 3 members bashing Ichigo so much? Hate Ichigo much? He is the main character after all so he has to look good. Kubo has to make Ichigo look strong and get strong fast.
From what Aizen was telling Ichigo he recapped all of his fights up until now. In case we all forgot what he said he said: That he became aware of his Shinigami powers when he met Ishda, In his fight with Renji he learned the power of his zangpakto, In his fight with Kenpachi he got a foot hold of his bankai, in his fight with Byakuya he went down the path of hollowfication, in his fight with grimmjow he mastered hollowfication, and in his fight with ulquiorra he was able to transform into hollow form 2. Basically Ichigo's a quick learner he gets stronger and stronger as he fights stronger enemies and heals from his wounds and learns from each fight to get stronger. If you haven't noticed that this is a pattern that has been going on for a long time in many well known and successful Shounen series. For example Naruto and DBZ all have the same concept going. Stronger character fights main character and main character gets omfg hacked stronger in a short period of time.
In bleach what matters is spirital force/pressure/ reaistu. For the other Shounen series we got Naruto = chakra DBZ = power level.
In all 3 series which ever character that had the highest of whatever was always on top. The one always on top was always the main character/ protagonist aka Ichigo, naruto, Goku.
This is a pattern that's been happening all the time in "some" shounen, that's the reality.
If you don't like the main character being overpowering and can't accept it then simply stop reading into the series, there's tons of other great series to watch. No one forces you or me or him or that person to watch/read what they don't like. freedom of choice.
Thanks for your opinions though guys!
