like 8 ppl in like thousands of NAMED characters have conq's haki. that isn't common.. that is very rare.

Yea there are currently only 8 confirmed Conqueror's Haki users out of which 2 are dead.

East Blue - Devil Fruits were rare
Grand Line - Devil Fruit users more common - haki users rare-ish
New World - Haki more common especially since that is where all the strongest characters are at and those that have big names. Those with big names, high bounty, and a large amount of followers will probably have Conqueror's Haki.

And don't forget during Chinjao's golden age, when he was still a pirate, he had a bounty of over 500,000,000 but who knows how much weaker he is compared to then but he has the highest known active bounty at the moment. He has a history with Garp and he said if he knew Dragon was Garp's son he would have killed him (or at least tried). I really like Chinjao and I can't wait to see how this fight will end.

Haoshoku haki is 1 in a million so like, if we did compare it to real world it means 7000 people with the ability

Luffy better win. Chinjao with the Fire Fire fruit would be OP.

any predictions on what Luffy will do with the mera mera no mi should he win?

My original thought was Sanji cause I kinda think it'd work well with his fighting style, but then he wouldn't be able to use blue walk anymore so that was ruled out my mind =(
Maybe Usopp will eat it so it doesnt become this OP power changing item

I thought about this too. I remember Oda saying he likes that Usopp is the most relatable to the reader, so I'm inclined to think he wouldn't get the fruit. Right now I just can't imagine any of the main crew getting the Mera Mera fruit with Sanji being the long shot choice.

edit: as far as the mera mera goes, it is too hard to say.

I want to say that maybe someone who is friendly with the SH gets it, and uses it to their benefit.

If an antagonist gets the fruit, I just feel it would be kinda weird.

I have to consider ODA's motivations for the whole bringing back the mera mera, I assume it is one of his favorite fruits or one of the japanese fan bases favorite ones.

If it gets brought back he obviously wants us to see it often so it would HAVE to be someone we will have exposure too.

That theory works with an antagonist too, but as I said before, it seems weird. We already know the fruit. It would not be unique to us, only in the sense that we haven't seen luffy/others FIGHT against the mera mera.

either way it made for a pretty cool side arc.
