Here he talks about "many sacrifices" which implies more then 1 (at this time none of the current owners of the MS were even alive, so more clan members must have awakened the MS and perhaps EMS, though little can be drawn regarding the EMS from this page)

Now, like mentioned above, the entire thing could be a fake.  But Itachi had no reason to lie about the clan's history or the requisites for unlocking the various forms of Sharingan.  In fact his goal was to have Sasuke take his eyes, confirming the prereqs for obtaining the ems.

and not to mention the secret stone of the uchia with there history on it claims madara was the first  so i cant accept that there was more before Madara  due to the fact there are several clues and hints directed  to that fact  and  only one occurrence of itachi telling sasuke  who we know    itachi lies a lot to him,  and he dosent come out and day it he seems like he is gather hype up or something

Madara was the first, there's no doubt about that.  I also agree with you that it was relatively rare, this was more directed at the person who said Madara, his brother, Itachi, and Kakashi were the only ones in history to unlock it, which I do not believe.

Hang on let me find that pic that had an Uchiha with 3 eyes, it was pretty funny.

3 out of the 7 people seem to have tattoos  i would think that 3rd eye thingy is a tattoo honestly  seeing as of the visible faces 3 of the 7 almost half have face tat's  it must of been a fad 80 years ago

but also having 10 eyes in your arm  leads me to think it would be possible to have a 3rd eye on your forehead  but i think its a tat honestly due to the other 2 people with face tats
