D. Gray-Man (quite a bit like what ur looking for, focuses on characters each with a special power, semi-long series, Start with this one or One Piece imo)
Fate/Stay Night (Servants that are unique, really cool fighting and plot)
Black Lagoon (Bad ass shooting, I prefer the dub)
One Piece (why are u not currently watching this?)
Basilisk (Gruesome assassins with unique abilities fighting, the ending is really boring for me though)
Getbackers (Two guys with unique abilities fighting other people with strange abilities, gets slow at times)
S-Cry-Ed (An aduilt swim show I used to like, really cool powers but can be a bit childish at times like naruto)
etc..

Sport/Action
Hajime No ippo (Currently watching and drawn into it)
Air Gear (Awesome story line!)
Prince of Tennis (Well developed characters playing tennis each with their own unique talents, highly recommended)
