It would be super interesting to find out what happened. If all the species really were that powerful it would be cool to see how they died. To me what makes more sense to me is that Frieza is the exception (his bloodline rather) and perhaps the race wasn’t as strong and perished through xyz circumstance. Maybe their bloodline itself lead to their demise?
However I think we can make the argument that frieza doesn’t really care about his blood line, let alone his species. The attitude he had towards his father and even vice versa when frieza was killed.
The wishing to be as powerful as a god makes sense, we shall see!
They covered it in the Bardock movie. It's just a single ancestor who was doing the same shit as Frieza, and then he fought Bardock who went SSJ, so as he was dying he said "warn my family about the Saiyans". They didn't wipe them out. Makes me think that the specific blood-line is ultra powerful (since this was 500 years prior to our current time), or perhaps their blood-line is the whole of their race. Could have been something like the Nameks where they merged together, or could have a people where they valued strength only and fought with eachother since the beginning of time, eventually a family was strong enough to wipe out all the others.
Who knows, but it's pretty irrelevant. Each member of the Frieza clan has operated in solitude, and there's no possible reason/logic to suggest they'd ever fucking want to share power with anyone, especially not their family members, who they've shown to consider as rivals and enemies.
The one other thing I was thinking, is that the only way it'll really work is if Frieza can get rid of zeno + the angels + become even more powerful. How could he do that with only one wish? Wish for the strength of the dragon lol. He seals Zeno/Angels (because this is DB, and they don't usually kill people like that), and then everyone has to band together to defeat him and gather the dragon balls to set everything right.
